Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri

I am mostly affected by the theme that strangely both haunts and liberates me the most: connectivity. The feeling that each of us are connected with the other and the constant thought that someone else has access to our private contemplations. I sometimes wish my human existence would go untraceable, but I guess the other side of that is knowing that it truly cannot, and that so long as we breathe, we leave an imprint.

i’ve been 25 years old for a week…

Now I know it looks like I abandoned the 90 Day Challenge. In some ways I have - I mean I clearly do not blog everyday. I think I have learned a little bit more about myself and instead of pressuring myself to complete my checklist to its highest degree, I find pockets of my day where I can emulate the feelings of being productive, which then of course, allows me to complete my goals with less feelings of burden.

Day Thirty Three-Thirty Six

So for me, right now, I am just putting my head down and working on myself. I am writing and saying my affirmations, writing 10 things I am grateful morning & night and doing my best to shift to the desired reality. I do not pray for fast results, I pray for permanent ones. I surrender to my inner voice and allow my internal guidance to dictate my next moves.

Day Six-Thirty Two

I learned that I needed to find balance in my life and prioritize a few things everyday instead of having this MASSIVE to do list. I learned to look at weekly goals instead of daily and then split the weekly tasks accordingly. I learned to set reasonable expectations – I accomplish more & sooner that way. I learned to listen to my body and eat the foods I liked. I learned how to approach the abundance mindset in my day-to-day and look at what I have more than what I don’t. I turned to gratitude. I turned to myself for validation.

Day Five - 09.16.2022

I am a little drained even as a write this and hoping that I can get better at putting my thoughts to words to actions. I want to be able to communicate my pain and insecurity in a healthy manner and I think the more candid I am on the blog, the more I can keep transmuting. I am feeling a bit sad and hopeless. I think the pain from my past is creeping up to me and while I can say that it’s “because of my period”, I feel like I need to value these memories and almost do something about it to let go. I’ll get more into this later this evening in my Day 6 post - but I wanted to just say, it’s ok to take a break, it’s ok if you are 100% all the time, it’s just ok to not be ok.

Day Four - 09.15.2022

It hit me today. What life was like before all this subconscious reprogramming - how did I go through life? I am not even asking that in an incredulous way but in an… “no but actually, I don’t remember” kind of way. I actually don’t know how I used to live my life and I cannot even fathom not knowing these principles. I remember saying in a Tik Tok once, “you cannot go backwards in this journey” - and man is that true. It’s like once these ideas get planted in your head and you start to live this way, it is nearly impossible to go back to a life where these ideals aren’t the norm.

Day Three - 09.14.2022

If you’re going through a period of uncertainty, know that you aren’t alone. I, too, am questioning my worth every second and having to reground myself often, but that’s why I picked up the 90 Day Challenge. I knew that this time was going to require me to go inwards and if I can share my journey and help one person out there (even if it’s just me) with feeling lost, then I will consider my mission complete.

Day Two - 09.13.2022

Manifesting is so much fun. I love this journey and honestly, I am learning so much about myself every day. As I continue being the empowered spiritual entrepreneur that I am, I keep manifesting in so many amazing people that just GET IT. Amber, the AAVRANI team, my fiancé, my good friend Zenab (who designed this website) all help me in so many active and passive ways. I wouldn’t be where I am without them, and I just am so honored that I get to be surrounded by so much love.

Day One - 09.12.2022

This is going to be fun - so last time I did the 90 Day Challenge, I fell into the world of social media. I fell in love with creating, talking about mental health & spirituality; I mean I don’t think I would be here today as a spiritual entrepreneur if it wasn’t for this challenge. I have no idea what is going to come out of this but all I know is that today I am BUZZING with energy & I hope you embark on this challenge with me as we transform our mind, body and soul
