The Housekeeper and the Professor

it’s been a couple days since i finished this book and i’m upset i don’t have my comfort read anymore. throughout the novel, i felt this overwhelmingly calm romance between math and its observer. it was like i was witnessing true love for the first time and its surprising, but also so calm and still. mathematics is grounding & still & romantic.

i didn’t know love was in peace though i have felt peace in love. strange i didn’t think the inverse was true.
